Meet Kelly Cox, NP

Kelly Cox, NP, is one of the nurse practitioners at Tyler Internal Medicine Associates P.A., which has two locations in Tyler and Lindale, Texas. He provides exceptional care to individuals living in and around Smith County.

Kelly has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2007. During that time, he has worked as a provider in a Level 1 Trauma center, urgent care, a family practice, as well as eight years with a Helicopter EMS as a Flight Nurse/ Paramedic, eventually becoming the Chief Administrative Officer.

He transitioned to full-time family practice in 2009 and has worked with Dr. Anthony Davis, MD, for over 10 years. He has served his country with Dept of Homeland Security as well as a Master Peace Officer and Tactical Paramedic/ Deputy for Smith County Sheriff’s Office for 16 years. He has served with Tyler PD SWAT as well as with the Texas Rangers SRT-1. 

Kelly is the father of two children that he loves dearly and the husband of Jennifer Cox, RN. In his off time, he enjoys anything in the outdoors and spending time with family. He is proud to be part of Davis Medical Group in Lindale and Tyler Internal Medicine Associates P.A. He graduated with his Nurse Practitioner training with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2006.
