Meet Marco Peterson, M.D.

Marco A. Peterson, MD, is one of the internal medicine physicians at Tyler Internal Medicine Associates P.A., which has two locations in Tyler and Lindale, Texas. 

Dr. Peterson received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Miami and his medical degree from Ross University in Dominica. He completed his family medicine residency at the Wayne State University in Rochester Hills, Michigan, where he had the honor of serving as chief resident and received the “Resident Teacher Award” for his graduating class during his last year. 

Dr. Peterson is a board-certified family medicine physician who enjoys educating patients on preventative medicine. He specializes in managing chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, hyperlipidemia, cardiovascular disease, and obesity. 

During his free time, Dr. Peterson enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoys going to sports events, traveling, and watching movies with friends and family. Dr. Peterson is fluent in both English and Spanish.
